"Silence is a true friend who never betrays"

Guess that pretty much is true to certain degree.
Now, i found this bit on the draft folder of the weblog post, i wonder what was it that made me stop. Why did i start that part and left it?

somehow someday soon i guess i'll really find time to fill it up, or at worst, a couple of more stories to go.

Shrek 4 Favorite Bits

For some reason, these 2 has stuck to me for some weird reasons today.
No doubt, i love the following few scenes off of Shrek 4.
Anyhow, as with the case these days with so many things on the mind both bad and good menage-a-trois'ed with so little time .. i'll let the videos do the post.

Mr Wu's A Window Cleaner

Mr Wu's A Window Cleaner

source - songfacts.com
In 1932, Formby recorded "Chinese Laundry Blues" in which he introduced Mr Wu, a lovesick Chinese laundry worker from Limehouse in East London. In 1936, he recorded "When I'm Cleaning Windows". Put them together and you get "Mr Wu's A Window Cleaner Now". According to The George Formby Society, this song was recorded December 17, 1939 on the Regal Zonophone label. Written by the same team, Fred E. Cliffe, Harry Gifford and Formby himself, this is one of his more endearing novelty songs. (thanks, Alexander Baron - London, England)

The Music Videos Post

i know, lazy ol' me.
well, i should just re-name the title something along the line like - let the music(video) speak? /or a (music)picture speaks a thousand words?
corny.

the recent hiatus

been away from updating this weblog.
just a quick post to remind and prove that I can and will still blog even though I have a steady j.o.b.; which wasn't surprising in the past that all weblogs would get un-cared for whenever I have work to do.
this, perhaps is a new resolution to keep this alive, and also another thing is to try to update the persona that is 'the discobala'.

great 1 month working under The Big Group, felt all welcomed and the feedback of my performances has been great and encouraging; and in little ways than none, has brought back the confidence in myself as I re-discover and re-invent myself these few weeks.

I'm going to sneak away and let some pictorials to do the rest.
another day another dollar, eh?

Brandy Alexander 2.0.11
This is my take on the classic Brandy Alexander cocktail; done tonight itself as someone wanted something sweet and creamy; yet masculine.
I picked the classic cocktail, and balanced it with spice notes and a certain few substitutions and a few old tricks for the effects. Of course, the picture doesn't do much justice to the drink; with the flash toying up with my shaky hands.

T A T E

The People

Some days, Batman just wants to be Bruce. Not Bruce Wayne, just Bruce.

He wants to lounge about with his other hero friends, all of them in stealth mode.

They stand at the bar and recount their adventures; play pool and puff on cigars. They are at ease, undisturbed by fainting damsels in distress.

They drink Hendrick's on the rocks, with a dash of tonic and a twist of lemon, reminiscing about criminals of the good ol' days and ruminating about today's entirely different breed…they wonder if as heroes, their jobs are ever done.

The good thing is, hero or not, they know that there's always a place where they can be just Bruce. Or Peter. Or Clark.

TATE.
Inspired by the Roaring 20s, Tate revisits the exclusive speakeasies of the Prohibition period when alcohol was illegal and private bars were the only means for prominent patrons to enjoy premium drinks.

Embodying the old school ‘members-only’ bar philosophy of privacy and discretion, Tate is elegantly designed, appointed with solid wood, leather and crystal cut glass, lending it a persona that is intimate and understated.

Opening hours:
5pm- till late daily
